CENTRE FOR MARKET DEVELOPMENT FOR AMERICA AND EUROPEAN REGION HELD ONE ON ONE MEETING, IN COOPERATION WITH ITPC MEXICO

ITPC Mexico coordinated with Mexico Embassy and Consejo Empresarial Mexicano de Comercio Exterior, Inversion y Technologia, A.C. (COMCE) sent a Trade Mission on November 14 - 17 2009 to Indonesia. The mission was led by Mr. Sergio Ley Lopez (Chairman Asia-Pacific) who was the Ambassador of Mexico in Indonesia. The mission consisted some importers, Mr. Alberto Medina Almazan (finance manager Aceros Y Materiales del Noreste, SA), Mr. Antonio Vargas (managing director Mexproud Shipping, SA), Mr. Djoko Waluyo (Asiamerica Comercializadora), Mr. Enrique Mendoza Arce (CEO V Consultaria y SP, SA), Mr. Israeli Rovirosa Figueroa (manager Lifpa, SA), Mr. Miguel Arias Topete (director Grupo Agro Industrial), and Ms. Ariadne Nunez (Serral, SA).
Kedatangan COMCE yang setara dengan Kamar Dagang (KADIN) di Meksiko kali ini bertujuan untuk mendorong dibentuknya aliansi strategis antara kedua negara, termasuk untuk meningkatkan hubungan perdagangan, terutama untuk produk agro, barang konsumsi, logistik, dan medis, disamping misi investasi dan transfer teknologi.
COMCE, the Mexico Chamber of Commerce, objectives are to boost the establishment of strategic alliances between the two countries, and to increase trade relations especially for agro products, consumer goods, logistics, medical products, and investment and technology transfers.
Some of the mission agendas while in Indonesia, are signing the MoU with Indonesia Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) cq Committee on International Cooperation and meeting with Deputi I Pengaturan Obat Beredar, BPOM to gained knowledge about how to export medicine to Indonesia. The mission also seek to have a prior discussion with Yayasan Rumah Sakit Dharmais to prepare a cooperation in Cancer Serum, unfortunately this agenda has to be postponed and will be done by electronic discussion.
The agenda was completed by visiting companies located in Bekasi, Cikampek and DKI Jakarta. The mission activities was closed on November 17 2009 by one on one meeting arranged by Centre for Market Development for America and European Region, NAFED which was held in Flamboyan Room Ministry of Trade, Jl. M.I. Ridwan Rais No. 5 and participated by 28 companies.
Products interested The COMCE delegations are furniture (made from rattan and enceng gondok), flooring (jati, teak and meranti), childrenwear, security equipment, jacket, t-shirt, consumer goods (soap), hospital equipment, copy paper, toilettris, medicine, corn, metal scrap, and freight forwarder.
